The Bird, enough said. OK, seriously, Jeff has been one of my closest friends for years. So close that every time the Illini lost to Duke during our college years, I was graced with a phone call from the State of North Carolina by this individual to remind me (in case I had forgotten, of course) who had won. But what really shows is that we’ve stayed such good friends for such a long time. Whether going through the highs and lows of being die-hard Cubs and fans together to racing our 4-cylinder compact cars to my house for two hours of video gaming during lunch in high school, I am honored to have Jeff stand up with me.
