My sisters are the most important people in my life. They are my girls, and we have always stood side by side in everything. November 22 will not be any different.
Amanda is my beautiful angel. She has always been my best friend. Since we were little girls, we would make up games to play all the time. All my memories of my childhood involve my 'manda. We're a team, and we have always stuck together. Amanda is sweet, but is tough as nails and can cook a mean meal. Amanda would have great hustler potential, but luckily is too smart to be a gambler. (Amanda might be the only in my family with that trait.)
Beverly is my crazy little firecracker. She's stronger, tougher and gutsier than anyone you know. When my dad told us girls: "Eat red meat. It grows hair on your chest," Beverly must have grabbed the Old 96er because man ... she could Jack-Bauer you. (While still maintaining her status as my mom's little baby.) Beverly is always up for anything and puts her heart into everything. University of Iowa, watch out. Most importantly, Beverly is completely devoted to her family, and wears our hearts on her tiny sleeve. No one could ask for a fiercer sister.
Beverly is also credited for giving Louis the fond nickname of Louiesphincter.
